Представлены результаты многолетних исследований Крымской опытной станции садоводства по вопросам селекции семечковых и ягодных культур. Отмечены основные этапы развития станции, как одного их старейших научных учреждений. Определены направления селекции семечковых и ягодных культур с учетом природно-климатических условий региона. Дана хозяйственно-биологическая оценка полученных сортов и селекционных  форм.

The results of many years of research Crimean Experiment Station of horticulture in the selection of pome fruits and berries are represented. The main stages of the station development as one of the oldest scientific orqanization are noted. The main areas in selection research of pome and  berry cultures considering natural climatic conditions of the region are pointed out. The economic and biological evaluation of the received varieties and breeding forms is given.
